True story of a very old past criminal record

I have encountered a lady through my agency seeking my help.  Here is her story and I changed her name to protect her with confidentiality.

About 25 years ago Carrie Smith was forced to steal from her employer at that time as her husband did not want to work and she was the only one beinging in a very small pay check.  Stan's (her husband) parents were also living with them and did not at all contribute to the household so his parents were living there for free.

Bills were piling up and groceries running low.  Stan said to Carrie that she can take $1000 from her job and they would never know it.  Carrie said no but Stan kept pushing the matter every day and then one day while Carrie was at work Stan showed up to make sure she took the money.

Carrie's boss found out and upon his investigation found out that Carrie stole the money.  She was arrested and charged.  She appeared in front of a jusge and she was found guilty.  This was her first ever conviction so the judge gave her 12 month probation.  She completed the probation with no problem and during that time left and divorced her husband.

She started to go about her own life with no problem.  She had previously worked in financial institutions and also worked as a security guard with no problems.  Just the past year she was looking for work, she applied for a security job as she has her security license (valid) for Ontario. They did a background check and told her they cannot hire her as something came back and it did not look good.

She started to wonder what it could be stopping this company to hire her.  She went to apply for a human resources job and they hired her and 2 days later when the background check was completed the employer had to dismiss her as it did not come back clean.

So, she was getting stressed and it dawned on her that something that had happened 25 years ago is now haunting her.  Right to this day she is unemployed and she is constantly applying for every job she can come across.

Halloween Board Games

Halloween board games can be used at home or school and they provide a great way to occupy kids in the lead up to Halloween. These games can be used to settle down excited kids and are also ideal as a reward for kids who finish their work early in the classroom or for kids who deserve a reward at home. But this is not their only use. Halloween board games also make a wonderful way for the family to spend time together.

There are commercial games available but it is much more fun and also much cheaper to make your own. Once you have made these halloween games, you then have something that can be used year after year.

To create your own Halloween board games, you just need some stock card and some markers. Stickers and glitter can also be used to dress up the game. You might like to choose a theme for the game like vampires or ghosts or you might like to make it about Halloween in general.

The most common board game is the track board game and this is the easiest type to make. Just draw a track around the board or from the top to the bottom of the board. The track might go from a Haunted House – the start – to your house – the end. Along the track you can have reward spaces and hazard spaces.

The reward spaces might have something like, ‘Have another turn.' The hazard spaces might say something like, ‘Go back 3 spaces.'  There can also be Trick or Treat spaces on the board. When someone lands on a Treat space, they can be rewarded by being given a small treat like a candy. When they land on the Trick space, they can pick up a card which will have a trick on it that they have to do. It might be something like, ‘Howl like a werewolf.'  
Your Halloween board game can be decorated with pictures, sticks, glitter, puff paint and anything else that you like. Once is it ready,you just take turns to throw the dice and move around the board.

A different way to create a Halloween board game is to make a ‘Snakes and Ladders' style game. Instead of using snakes and ladders though, you could use witch's brooms as ladders and black cats with long tails as the snakes. The game can played the same way as the traditional ‘Snakes and Ladders' game.

Halloween board games are an ideal game for family fun or classroom fun. If you choose to make your own board this makes it even more fun. Let the kids use their imaginations and see what they come up with. They'll have fun making the game and they'll be so proud of what they have made that they won't want to stop playing it.

I need help finding a band that was featured on purevolume...about 20 months ago? more info below?

Okay, I cannot remember the bands name or the song I really liked title.
Here are the clues I have to this mystery:
1)In their pictures there were a couple of them in a sort of haunted building(made to look like one at the photoshoot obviously)
2) I am 99% sure they were unsigned
3) I thought the album or song or some title had something to do with cold or winter
4) The band's whole album was for free stream, I believe that is why they were featured that weekend

heyyy! well we are both 18. been together 6 month....obviously goin to be 7 month at christmas! but anyway, he loves his music, films, most haunted, pubs & clubs, designer clothes. but hes got like everything....which makes it harder for me !!

I'd say about $50 bucks. one nice wallet, belt, sweater, etc. not too much but enough to get one quality item. by all means, do not go overboard.
